      WHAT'S NEW:

Now available to order!
(above) A new galloping mare sculpture "Hazel" - Click here to learn how to get your copy!

And a new artist's proof of my "El Embosco" sculpture (below)

On eBay from Feb 2nd thru 9th:
"El Embosco" artist's proof #3

NOVEMBER '07 UPDATES
Above "Descartes" was recently sold. Click here to view his gallery. He is the first artist's proof of "dinky duke". There was a problem with the online auction (in case you were wondering where it disappeared too..!), full story through my yahoogroup (click "Sales Announcement List").

Other sales this month through yahoogroup were 2 unpainted "El Embosco" artist's proofs and 1 "Flitwick" artist proof casting.

OCTOBER UPDATES

Donation to the Region 10 Regionals show was auctioned off. This was also the piece I used to create the RESS TBIII article on making fleabitten greys. A small gallery of this gorgeous medallion sculpted by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig is here.

Also in Oct I auctioned off a Sarah Rose "mini Indy" commission.

SEPTEMBER UPDATES

With no warning I threw this fellow out to my yahoogroup and I still was overwhelmed with the # of immediate takers. This is "TicTac", a "Frosty" sculpture by Ann Harris -click here to see his full gallery.

AUGUST UPDATES
Again sold exclusively through my announcement group; an artist's proof "Flitiwick" resin (below right) and Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig's "Lirico" resin painted chestnut by me (below left).

(click thumbnails for full galleries).

JULY UPDATES

Last traditional sized "Deputed Duke" artist's proof went to eBay early in the month. Check out the gallery for "Escher" here. In July of 2004 I released the traditional scale "Deputed Duke" resin. Three years later to the day nearly I sold this, my last painted up copy. "Escher" was Artist's Proof #4. 120 copies of this sculpture were made, I kept 10 and now have 1 left aside from this fellow, and I will be keeping that last copy of this edition for myself.

Updated May 4th! Full gallery and measurement information (opens in new window)

Traditional (1:9) scale galloping sporthorse mare

(The term "sporthorse" means she is a portrait of the real horse "Hazel". The real gal is a registered "American Warmblood" draft cross and who started out life as a rescued "PMU" foal. Her Heinz 57 lineage is suspected to be 1/4 draft & TB/QH although it's very unclear. She definitely has some QH and draft traits but this sculpture was designed to capture her very real "do it all" mare powerhouse nature!)

Hazel wil be hollow cast with plenty of stainless steel reinforcement for all those tough performance jobs!
Castings are not attached to base permanently for ease in customization & safety in shipping

DETAILS ON HOW TO ORDER:

HAZEL ORDERS ARE BEING TAKEN AS "RESERVATIONS"

PLEASE UNDERSTAND that these will be taken first come first serve
through a reservation list (see explanations below). Your payment will be due when it is time to cast your copy and you can anticipate payment-due dates by looking for updates on the reservation list. Typical time frame turn around from when you make your payment to when you can have your horse-in-hand is going to be around a month or less by this method hopefully!

PLEASE ALSO UNDERSTAND that when you submit to the reservation list you are getting in line for the next available slot.
No time payments are necessary by this method because you can wait and save and join the list for a later due date (lots less guess-work too!). :)

PLEASE UNDERSTAND that no payment is due until notified. No time payments or trades.

PRICE & POSTAGE:

$227 ONLY for those who can get Breyerfest pick-ups (cut off will be orders that can be cast up to early July) I would like advance notice/proof of those who will be doing pick-ups to prevent any confusion & problems (consider that line #8 on what to submit in your email I suppose – I'll need a name of whom will pick up and please don't forget that they will need your ID confirmation code at time of pick up)

$245ppd for direct shipping from caster via UPS

$250ppd for United States Postal Service mailing in the US (must use for PO Boxes)

$260ppd for Internationally shipped orders

Step #1:   For current availability: see "Hazel's Reservation List"

Step #2:   To order send email to morgen@one-horse.net or artbymorgen@yahoo.com with the following:

  1. Email Subject: "Hazel Reservation"

  2. # of castings to be ordered (if you wish to stagger them out;  keep track of current reservations on the list and then send another reservation email later on)

  3. Full name (this won't be published – none of your info will – you will get an id code and that's all you will be able to see online)

  4. Shipping address (this can be changed at a later date)

  5. Shipping option chosen (see details through yahoogroup posting)

  6. Contacts (prefer several if you could, such as giving 2 different emails, and email and a user name online to contact you through, or an email and a phone # for example)

  7. Total of the amount you'll be sending and type of payment (all types of payments accepted)

IMPORTANT: Update March 30th, I have a yahoo account artbymorgen@yahoo.com cc'ed in the above links that will hopefully address the aggressive spam filtering my server has been doing. However if there is still an issue (or one with your own email) I have created an alternative route that has worked several times now. Please see my Blog "How To Contact Me" post HERE

There isn't much I can do to prevent spam filters from rejecting certain emails (such as emails from @aol.com - some come through, others do not). My final solution will have to be to move to a new web site host (which is time intensive). However the linked method has already worked very well to get around these problems so until I find a new host this is the best way. Alternative to this is contacting me through MH$P ads.

If you do not get a confirmation of your order within 24 hrs at this point please assume it has bounced and try the above method!

Step #3:   Save your confirmation email somewhere and you will be notified when it is time to make your payment.

First casting & it's COA hot off the presses! Thanks to JK for letting it be shipped to me to proof before passing along!

FAQs:

TRACKING YOUR ORDER STATUS: The status of your reservation & the edition casting and due dates are maintained confidentially online through the Reservation List (click to view)

PREORDER LIST EXPLANATION: Folks signing up for preorders (by putting "Preorder" in the email subject) are asking to be first and are ready to pay immediately. These 20 slots are made available early on to pay the up front costs of casting a resin.

RESERVATION LIST EXPLANATION: This is a commitment to pay by the date your casting is made. Looking in the right hand column shows approximate dates payments will be due. If your finances are too close, waiting until later on to submit your name for the reservation list is better for everyone concerned. If you are simply uncertain you will have the funds please consider the waiting list instead.

Tip: If you want to gain time to save for your payment keep an eye on the reservation list and when payments are due. Don't submit your order until that month is approaching being filled up. Orders will be put on the list first come first listed. It would be mad chaos to try and put folks in various slots by date. Payment due dates are likely to be delayed, but not bumped up which is good news for those who want more time. :)

WAITING LIST EXPLANATION: The waiting list is a "no promises" list. I go down this list whenever someone notifies me that they cannot make a payment/fufill their slot. All I ask is that those on this list let me know within 2wks if they'd like the slot. If not they can be bumped to the bottom or drop out. So please understand that if you get put on the waiting list you might not get a horse, I go down the list in order and ask each person one at a time (hence why prompt declines are so important - then I know I can move to the next person, I just give 2wks here because someone may be out of town or on vacation, etc etc. It only seems fair since they have no way of knowing when their name might come up). :)

More in depth explanations of the above "Reservation List" method can be viewed on an older sold-out resin's release page. Hopefully these above are more simplified and clear however. Please don't hesitate to ask questions (again morgen@onehorse.net), I'm happy to answer them to prevent confusion up front! :)

For additional questions on customization see "Policies" (I have no issue with them basically!). :)

Satisfaction guarentee: I will work with you to ensure you are happy with your horse! Please contact me with any issues and we'll work out a resolution. My concern is, has and always will be making sure I have happy customers! :)
