2008 News
July
I'm going to be posting the majority of my "news"
on my
yahoogroup.
However this "news"
does need to be brought to my website as well.
I would like to introduce my new "hired hand"
(savior!) Lisa Gruetter who is taking over
the bookeeping and organizing aspects of my sales
so that I can (a) offer more, especially
time payments for all types of transactions over
extended periods [and follow up on them which
is where I, uhm, tend to fail!] :) and she'll
(b) be helping to remember to promote sales
which I haven't kept up on very well at all either.
Thank you SO much Lisa!
Lisa will be answering emails
from the artbymorgen@yahoo.com
address. We both have access to this but she'll
be your primary contact through most transactions.
The morgen@one-horse.net
email address will still come only to me. If it's
sales related I'll forward it over to her, but
I still am "answering the door" so to
speak. :)
Other news
of note this year:
- "Finished Resins
Gallery" greatly updated with many new
and old photos..
- I've started a "Weekend
Winners Update" to my blog (which isn't
quite weekly of course but close enough!). If
you spy a horse in there that is yours or you
took the photo - I'd love to add it to my gallery
of winners. I'm only putting horses in there
who's owner and/or the photographer have given
me permission. Otherwise I'm only linking to
them in the blog. ;)
- The two big sales items
I've offered this year off my previous ticker
- And I can't forget that the
"Find a
Painter" directory listing keeps getting
larger too! Lots of great artists in there!

Above "Descartes" was recently sold.
Click
here to view his gallery. He is the first
artist's proof of "dinky duke". There
was a problem with the online auction (in case
you were wondering where it disappeared too..!),
full story through my yahoogroup (click "Sales
Announcement List").
Other
sales this month through yahoogroup were 2 unpainted
"El Embosco" artist's proofs and 1 "Flitwick"
artist proof casting.

Donation to the Region 10 Regionals show was auctioned
off. This was also the piece I used to create
the RESS TBIII article on making fleabitten greys.
A small gallery of this gorgeous medallion sculpted
by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig is here.
Also
in Oct I auctioned off a Sarah Rose "mini
Indy" commission.

With
no warning I threw this fellow out to my yahoogroup
and I still was overwhelmed with the # of immediate
takers. This is "TicTac", a "Frosty"
sculpture by Ann Harris -click
