This year's hunt will begin, Friday November 29th at 8:00 pm eastern (New York/North Carolina!) time.

At 8pm Friday the real hunt's questions will be posted to my yahoogroup in a message (& please note, it will only be posted to my yahoogroup, not my email subscription service due to the service frowning on hosting games).

In the result of a technical failure preventing me from posting the hunt questions on yahoo within a reasonable time (a half hour of the target date), a note saying what's up will be posted here and/or to my FB page (depending on the issue- if my internet is down I can't post anywhere obviously!)...

Again however; NO other details are planned to be released outside of the yahoogroup, and only if there is a technical issue (or a status update if there is time).

How it works:

This is a treasure hunt, so you will have to puzzle out each question and a final answer. To do so you’ll have to guess the answer to the questions, then go to that page and then find the seemingly random letter (it will be easy to see) at the bottom of each page over next to the copyright info. Not seeing letters at the bottom of the page? Try refreshing the page ->the letters will be in the lower left hand corner and hopefully big enough to be obvious.

For the 2^nd part you will have to take all of the letters you get to the first questions and unscramble them to answer a final question.

Hopefully it will take at least a few minutes and a bit of resourcefulness to search through the pages for every question (so in a nutshell, no one can simply use technology tricks in this type of contest to search through my website, you've got to think a little for this one I hope!!). It will help to know a little something about my resins (or at least where to look up information about them on my site!). :-) You didn’t expect it to be too easy did you?!!! Average solving time has come down from 45min to 15min or so in my first few letter hunt contests. Don't give up!! I will post to my yahoogroup & my FB page when all 7 winners have come in, and update this page as well. If you're wondering if you should still try, just refresh those pages to see.

You can look & see that there are already letters on those very pages (and they won’t correspond to the example I’m making up here for what it’s worth). When you get the final questions this evening you first must guess the correct page, go to it and find the letter. Then Paste the letter you find AND the page address (the http://..etc url) next to each other as shown below.
